Get rid of water insects naturally

The aquatic insects are an umbrella for all the insects found in our house that, like cockroaches, make your house an unpleasant place to live. They are born in drainage waters and enter their homes through drainage pipes to feed on leftovers especially in the kitchen. You can see them in action during the night hours in your kitchen and bathrooms. It's hard to get rid of them while they keep coming. You can take certain precautions while building your houses to avoid them altogether.

Some water insects that are commonly found are:

A clean house and its surroundings are only remedied to avoid them completely. Keep the sink holes sealed. Avoid any water clogging in or near your houses, since the birthing bath or the hole in the old drainage cover are the perfect place to store water for your crop. If your house or town has a pool, remember to keep it dry when not in use or simply mix the proper amount of chlorine in the water.

Keep your house clean, even at night, before you go to sleep, as aquatic insects are attracted to the food left over from the slabs and sinks in your kitchen. Add a few cups of distilled vinegar to your drainage system to keep it away from aquatic insects.

There are several home remedies you can do yourself to keep your home away from water bugs.

Diatoms

It is a natural insecticide created from fossilized remains of small aquatic organisms called diatoms. It is the best way to treat your house with any insect and it is safe for your pets and babies.

It is a white powder similar to talcum powder. It adheres to the skin of insects causing them to dehydrate and eventually die. It is food grade as safe for pets in the house. It can help eliminate bed bugs, dust mites, cockroaches, bed bugs, ants and fleas in your home without using harsh chemicals.

Brush and vacuum your home or the area where you want to use this product. Sprinkle the powder in the area. If used on carpets, rub gently to get to the bottom of the carpet where the insects live. Let sit for at least twelve hours in that area and remove the dust. Repeat this process once every three weeks to keep your house free of bugs or other insects.

It is respectful with the environment and does not add any damage to birds, fish and dogs. It is found in large quantities in oceans and seas and is considered non-harmful to most species. A growing medium for potted plants is also used as an additive for the soil and helps the soil retain water and nutrients. It helps replenish the soil so that plants and food can be grown for livestock and human consumption.

The diatomaceous earth comes in three forms. The first one is the granulated DE, which is a raw material composed by the crushing of silica that is generally safe for human consumption and helps to form healthy bones. The second is the micronized DE that has a very fine consistency and is used in pesticides and insecticides. The third is Calcined DE, which is treated with heat and activated form and is used in the filtration of water and explosives.

The vinegar found in our kitchen shelves is a very suitable home remedy to prevent insects and disinfect the area they have invaded. This is organic and safe for the environment while helping to get rid of water bugs. It does not kill water insects, but the antibacterial property in them makes it difficult for water insects to remain where we have sprinkled vinegar.

To make a strong solution, mix three parts so that the water becomes a part of white vinegar and keep it ready in spray bottles for use in the affected area. You can make it a daily habit of spraying your kitchen and bathroom areas after using them to keep them away from insects and other insects. Not only is it effective to keep insects away from the water, but also to help clean the house of slugs, moths and ants. You can also use it safely in your gardens to keep your plants healthy. For a serious insect problem, you can increase the spray concentration to 50-50 percent vinegar and water and use it to treat your home.

The acidic nature of vinegar may not be suitable for consumption when it is sprinkled on vegetables and fruits, so be careful to wash and apply them before using them when using this highly concentrated spray in your kitchen. There is a much stronger form of these commercially available aerosols on the market that can be used to treat insects and bacteria.

Boric acid

Aquatic insects are home insects that can contaminate your food and cause health problems, especially for young children and even adults. It is crucial to control them and keep your home free of their terror. A pinch of boric acid in your kitchen and bathroom area can be an effective way to get rid of these aquatic insects. Sprinkle especially close to your opening, from where they intrude. You will check them at your entrance and avoid contaminating other areas of your home. When they encounter boric acid, they will inhale it, and the poison will flow through their tracheas and blood vessels, and eventually they will be sent back to their source of water where they originated. And at some point, they will be killed.

In case you do not know where your house is intruding, simply sprinkle a mixture of sugar with boric acid as bait. The sweet fragrance of sugar will attract them and, therefore, kill them when they are considered.

Follow the steps below to keep your home free of water bugs this summer. Clean and dry your kitchen and bathroom every day before sleep. Add a cup of vinegar in all drainage entries at night every day for at least the next month and then you can reduce the frequency to twice a week. Do not allow leftovers to remain on the tiles in your kitchen, especially at night. Wipe it with a damp cloth and wipe the cloth with water after use. Preferably do not leave dirty dishes in the sink area. This will not only help you get rid of bed bugs and other insects, it will also help you reduce your work time in the morning, and have a clean kitchen and bathroom for your use every morning.
