Herbal remedies for biliary dyskinesia

Filed in: Natural Remedies.

Biliary dyskinesia is a motility disorder that affects the gallbladder and / or sometimes the sphincter of Oddi. Its symptoms are similar to those of biliary colic: episodes of pain in the upper right that last more than 30 minutes and, sometimes, are severe enough to interrupt daily activity or to wake the person in the middle of the night . Characteristic of this pain is the fact that it can not be relieved with bowel movements, postural changes or antacids, and most of the time, it is associated with nausea and vomiting. If the motility disorder is really serious (which means that the gallbladder never empties by more than 38%), a cholecystectomy may be indicated. Otherwise, you can benefit from the choleretic, cholagogue, antispasmodic, antinociceptive and toning effects of the following herbs.
