Elderberry (Sambucus nigra) – Natural remedies for health
Filed in: Medicinal Herbs.
Recent research puts elderberry at the forefront of the most powerful immune system stimulants. Its fruits are a serious competitor of influenza vaccines.
Experiments are made in sophisticated laboratories of a medical university in Israel that could influence the destiny of humanity. The research topic is the blue and black berries of a plant capable of neutralizing the most dangerous germs, with an extraordinary ability to increase the body's natural defenses. It seems that this plant is really something special, that triggered an unprecedented deployment, hundreds of first class researchers who worked for more than ten years in these studies have obtained an overwhelming result, considering that humanity is increasingly threatened by the spectrum of incurable diseases such as AIDS and SARS, cancer or leukemia.
Interestingly, a common herbal extract of a fruit is far ahead of the efficacy of the complicated chemical syntheses presented by the most powerful diseases. What plant is it? Well, these studies refer to an old plant, which was imposed as a first-hand remedy in fast-detox diets: the elderberry.
Why are these fruits so special? I will write from the registered pages about experimental facts and conclusions reached in recent years about the plant, following studies carried out in parallel in dozens of hospitals and institutes. The elderberry extract is a powerful competitor to the next generation of antiviral drugs, which help to cure most degenerative diseases, cancer prevention, the fight against benign tumors and extended biological youth. In what follows, I intend to make a brief and much-needed use of this extraordinary plant to treat and prevent various diseases:
Where to find the fruits of the elderberry.
In the middle of the fall, the elderberry (Sambucus nigra) can be found mainly in the northern hemisphere, the southern hemisphere plant grows only in certain parts of Australia and South America. The plant is located in mountainous areas, valleys and streams, where sunlight penetrates little and the vegetation cycle of this plant is delayed. The most common elderberries live on the edges of forests, in areas adjacent to forest roads, in the cutting of forests where trees have not yet been recovered and where small trees grow luxuriantly.
Harvesting the elderberry.
Harvesting is done by cutting clusters of berries. After three to four hours after collection, these grains will be prepared and placed in the refrigerator, where you can store them for 24-48 hours. If it is not consumed fresh, in preparations such as syrup, tincture or juice, the elderberry fruit can be allowed to dry, but only artificially. The beans are removed from the bunch and placed in a very thin layer in an oven, which provides a temperature of around 40 degrees centigrade. Allow the seeds to dehydrate until they look like raisins. It can be stored in paper bags, in dry and dark places.

For a quick weight loss. – In overweight or obese individuals, the treatment program is as follows: the first day, take a teaspoon on an empty stomach, at 18. The second day take 2 teaspoons at the same time and so on, until the seventh day , when the time comes to 7 teaspoons taken at a time. Keep this dose for 30 days. This gradual increase in dose is necessary to prevent diarrhea or abdominal colic. If the dose increases as the diarrhea continues to be strong, take the supplement (sublingual) 2-3 teaspoons of oak bark powder (Quercus robur) daily or Cancer tailed grass (Potentilla anserina), if the diarrhea still persist, reduce it. The dose or even discontinue the treatment. If swelling occurs (rare phenomenon in the treatment of elderberry), eat 1-2 tablespoons of cumin or fennel.
Powder – It is produced by grinding the dried beans as fine as possible with an electric coffee grinder. 3-4 teaspoons of powder are administered daily on an empty stomach. It is recommended to treat eye diseases, diarrhea (nuts and fresh extracts have the opposite effect) and colitis.
Syrup – Two glasses of fresh elderberry juice, obtained by the above method, add two cups of brown sugar and the grated zest of two lemons. Place this mixture on the fire and let it boil briefly, then pour it into a hot glass that should then be sealed tightly. Take 4-5 teaspoons of this mixture per day, for a slightly laxative, tonic, remineralizing and vitamin properties.
