Homemade Eggnog Recipe

Step 7: Beat the remaining cream in a bowl and add it to the milk and egg mixture to give your eggnog a thick, creamy texture. Step 8: Sprinkle the cloves, cinnamon and lemon zest over the top. Serve it cold!
